Listen to the whispers

those whispers on the wind,

As it sighs a breath of Heaven

through the trees.

Listen to that rustle

that rustling of the leaves,

Intoning their incantations

to the incumbent birds and bees.

Feel the soft caress

of a summer evening breeze,

As the perfumed zephyr

all but fills the air.

Inhale that gentle sweetness

and with melancholy ease,

Let it disperse existing worry

and all care.

Listen to the crickets

and the lark upon the wing,

As they herald their proclamations

of the day,

Bear witness to their beauty

and the anthems that they sing,

Be not indifferent

to the message they convey.
